Terms of service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using GhostClick (“the Service”), operated by Morecheckouts Limited (“we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

GhostClick audits websites by sending an AI-driven agent through real browser sessions to identify UX friction and conversion issues. You provide a URL and a journey goal; we provide a report. The Service does not modify your website or inject scripts into it, and does not collect data from your visitors.

GhostClick is available as a standalone application with Google sign-in, and as an application installed from the Shopify App Store that runs embedded inside the Shopify admin. Both are the same Service under these terms.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service, either by signing in with Google or by installing the app from the Shopify App Store. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any credentials you provide to us (including a storefront password or login credentials supplied so a journey can access a protected page), and for keeping your account information accurate and up to date.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to audit websites you do not own or are not otherwise authorised to test
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service or the infrastructure it runs on
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
  • Resell or redistribute audit reports without our written consent
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

5. Billing, trials, and cancellation

Some features require a paid subscription. Depending on how you signed up, you're billed either through Stripe (standalone accounts) or through Shopify Billing (accounts installed from the Shopify App Store, billed on your regular Shopify invoice). Paid plans include a free trial period; you won't be charged until it ends.

You may cancel at any time — from the Stripe customer portal for Stripe-billed accounts, or from your Shopify admin billing settings for Shopify-billed accounts. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are not refunded for the unused portion. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; current plans and pricing are published at getghostclick.com/pricing.

Uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin ends your subscription, resets your account to the free plan, and turns off scheduled and theme-publish-triggered monitoring for that store. It does not delete your existing audits, reports, or saved journeys.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, and configuration of third-party AI models, is owned by Morecheckouts Limited. Audit reports generated for your websites are yours to use. You grant us no rights over your website content beyond what is needed to operate the Service and produce your reports.

7. Limitations

The Service uses AI to navigate websites and is not deterministic — results may vary between runs. Audit reports are informational and do not constitute professional UX or legal consulting advice. We do not guarantee that following recommendations will improve conversion rates.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service. The Service depends on third-party infrastructure (including cloud browser sessions and AI model providers) that may itself experience outages, rate limits, or degraded performance outside our control.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Morecheckouts Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You may stop using the Service, cancel your subscription, or delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
